Ancient Greek A Lá Carte Class
Cornerstone is happy to announce that next year we will be offering an Ancient Greek class. The class will focus on Biblical Greek and learning to read the Bible in its original language. If you are interested in having your homeschooler be a part of this program, contact Mrs. Muni at muni@cornerstone.st.
Iowa Test of Basic Skills
Cornerstone is pleased to offer the Iowa Test of Basic Skills to homeschool students in 1st through 12th grade. Registration Forms will be available January 2011.
AP Testing
We invite you to participate in AP testing in May for the following subjects: Calculus AB; Physics B; English Literature and Composition and English Language and Composition. The cost is $96 per test. Please contact our office for more information (352 378-9337 or muni@cornerstone.st)
Rosetta Stone only $110 for 12 months
Cornerstone is pleased to invite you to participate with us in foreign language study through Rosetta Stone. Over 30 languages are available. Each is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days per week from any computer in the world! This is an exciting opportunity! The cost is only $110 for 12 full months! We must have a minimum of 25 applicants in order to be able to offer this amazing deal (a savings of hundreds of dollars). PSAT Test
You are invited to participate in the PSAT at Cornerstone. PSAT Registration Form available soon for 2010.
The Preliminary SAT ®/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test is a co-sponsored program by the College Board and National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC). It is a standardized test that provides firsthand practice for the SAT Reasoning Test™. It also gives students a chance to enter the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) scholarship programs. The PSAT/NMSQT measures: critical reading skills, math problem-solving skills and writing skills.
Cornerstone will be offering the PSAT on Saturday, October 16 at 8 AM. The fee for homeschoolers is $30. To confirm your seat, please contact the office. (office@cornerstone.st or 352 378-9337). Students will do well to prepare for the test because doing well opens many doors at colleges and scholarships all over the country. Cornerstone has had at least one 11th grade student each year in the National Merit Scholarship pool. Practice tests are available on College Advising Page.
Used textbooks for SALE year round !

Part-time Enrollment
Cornerstone is offering Homeschoolers access to academic courses on a part-time enrollment basis. Homeschool students in 7th—12th grades would be able to attend such classes as Logic, regular, honors and AP science (Earth Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics), regular, honors and AP Math courses (Pre-Algebra through AP Calculus), English and History (Omnibus II and III, American History, Worldviews, American Government & Economics, AP English) and Latin as well as art and drama. The cost is pro-rated based on the number of classes for which the student registers. Each class meets three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday) and costs $75 per month.
