Cornerstone is happy to provide the following services and assistance to full-time homeschooling families.

Iowa Test of Basic Skills

Cornerstone is pleased to offer the Iowa Test of Basic Skills to homeschool students in 1st through 12th grade. The dates this year are Thursday and Friday, April 12 and 13 from 8 AM – 12:10 PM. The test will be administered at Cornerstone Academy.

Part-time Enrollment

Cornerstone offers homeschoolers access to academic courses on a part-time enrollment basis. Homeschool students in 6th—12th grades are able to attend such classes as Logic; regular, honors and AP science (Earth Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Anatomy and Physiology); regular, honors and AP Math courses (Pre-Algebra through AP Calculus);  English and History (Omnibus I and III, American History, Thoughts Captive, American Government & Economics, AP English); Latin, art, and drama.

Fees are based on the number of classes for which the student registers. Options for the three-day model and the new five-day school are available. The three-day model meets on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and costs $900 per class per year or $75 per month/12 months. The new five-day school costs $1,250 per class per year or $104 per month/12 months. A new student application fee of $100 is due with the a la carte application. Within two weeks of acceptance, students must pay the $250 intent to attend fee. AP Testing

We invite you to participate in AP testing in May for the following subjects: Calculus AB; Biology; English Literature and Composition. The cost is $96 per test.
