Early Morning Drop Off
Early Morning Drop Off is a service provided to parents of preschool and Grammar School students (K4 through 6th grade) by which a student may be brought to Cornerstone as early as 7:30 AM to facilitate a parent's work schedule. Children will be supervised by an adult staff member on the play ground, or in a classroom if the weather is poor. The cost for this service is $20 per month per family whether the service is used once per month, or every time the Academy is open. The cost is the same for multiple children of one family, or for one child. The Early Morning Drop Off payment should be included in your monthly tuition check. Families must register for this service prior to dropping their student off.
Classes begin at 8 AM for students in K5 through 6th grades. A student may arrive at 7:50 AM to prepare for class and not be considered part of the Early Morning Drop Off Program, therefore there would be no charge. Students arriving for the 8:30 AM start of K4 may arrive at 8:20 AM and enter the classroom.
Students are never to be dropped off and left unsupervised by an adult. Parents who prefer to wait with their children until it is appropriate to enter the classroom are encouraged to do so. In such cases the parent is responsible for the behavior and whereabouts of his or her student until responsibility is assumed by the teacher.
